Fr. Robert was inducted as the 11th Vicar of the parish of St. Agnes on the Feast of St Mark the Evangelist, 25th April 2023. Before that he ministered in Cheltenham, and going back further, Mitcham and Devon. Born in 1974, he is a native Londoner who was brought up and came to faith on the other side of the River, in Bethnal Green and Bow.  Ordained for over 20 years, Fr. Robert read Theology at St College, Durham and King's College London. He trained for the ministry at St Stephen's House, Oxford

The letters after his name mean Societas Sanctae Crucis - The Society of The Holy Cross - an international brotherhood of Anglo -Catholic priests founded in London in 1855 to further a disciplined priestly life in the Catholic tradition.

Fr. Robert shares St. Agnes Vicarage with his wife, Lindy, his two black Cats, Mia & Paddy, and his yellow Labrador, Ernie.  Please contact Fr. Fr. Simon  grew up on a sheep station in the High Country of South Canterbury, New Zealand.  Ordained in Manchester in 1967, he has had a long and distinguished ministry, having worked in Manchester, Singapore, New Zealand and London.

An experienced broadcaster and writer, he has long been active in the arts, and has lived in Kennington for the past twenty years and is Honorary Assistant Priest at St Agnes, where he is deeply loved and appreciated by all.
